We meet you in Delhi and drive you to Haridwar, where the Ganga leaves the mountains. At dusk, the aarti at Har Ki Pauri begins your yatra with lamps, bells and the river.
Delhi → Haridwar · 250 km · approx. 5–6 hrs

After vehicle registration and hill certification in the morning, drive to Barkot, a quiet hill village below Yamunotri. The rest of the day is free to rest and prepare.
Haridwar → Barkot · 190 km · approx. 6–7 hrs

Trek 6 km each way from Kharsali, on foot or by doli, palki or pony, through pine forest and rhododendron. Bathe in the Yamuna, offer your prayers, and cook rice and potatoes in the hot water of Surya Kund as prasad. At Kharsali, also visit the temple of Lord Shani, brother of Goddess Yamuna.
Barkot → Kharsali · 40 km by road, then an approx. 6 km trek each way (2–3 hrs one way)

A gentle drive along the Bhagirathi river, with a stop at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The evening is for the local market, the river and rest.
Barkot → Uttarkashi · 100 km · approx. 3–4 hrs

Visit the white stone temple of Goddess Ganga at 3,048 metres, near the holy rock where King Bhagirathi is said to have prayed to Lord Shiva. Take a holy dip, offer prayers, and fill a vessel with holy Ganga water to carry home.
Uttarkashi → Gangotri and back · 110 km each way · approx. 3–4 hrs each way

A long, scenic drive from the Bhagirathi valley to the Mandakini valley, ending at Guptkashi, the town from where the Kedarnath journey begins.
Uttarkashi → Guptkashi · 225 km · approx. 7–8 hrs

The path from Gaurikund climbs beside the Mandakini river. Walk, or go by doli or pony, as clouds drift through the valley and chants of Jai Bholenath echo ahead of you. You arrive in time for the evening aarti and a night under the snow peaks.
Guptkashi → Sonprayag · 47 km by road, then local vehicle to Gaurikund and an approx. 19 km trek

Rise before first light for the Abhishek puja to Lord Kedarnath. Then visit Bhairav Nath Temple or the Rudra Meditation Cave while the valley is still quiet. A gentle walk down brings you to Guptkashi or Ukhimath for the night.
Kedarnath → Gaurikund (approx. 19 km trek) → Sonprayag → Guptkashi or Ukhimath · 50 km by road

An early start takes you over the mountain road through Joshimath, where Lord Badrinath is worshipped in winter. Bathe at Tapt Kund, then enter the temple of Lord Vishnu for darshan and the evening aarti.
Guptkashi → Badrinath via Joshimath · 190 km · approx. 7–8 hrs

A second, quieter darshan at dawn. Then visit Mana, the last village of India, with Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa and the temple of Mata Murti, where the Saraswati river meets the Alaknanda. The day ends at Rudraprayag or Pipalkothi.
Badrinath → Rudraprayag or Pipalkothi · 170 km · approx. 5–6 hrs

The road follows the river down through Devprayag to Rishikesh. Cross Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula, visit Parmarth Niketan and Swarg Ashram, and end the yatra with the evening aarti at Triveni Ghat.
Rudraprayag or Pipalkothi → Rishikesh · 150 km · approx. 4–5 hrs
